Manchester Airport Terminal 2 - Check-In

The Check-in desks can be found on the upper level of departures at Manchester Airport Terminal 2. Be sure to check the live departures information to stay up to date with any changes to your flight at Manchester Airport Terminal 2.

It's always better to give yourself lots of time to check-in before a flight, no one likes the panic run to the gate or being the last person whose name is called over the tannoy! With this in mind, we advise allowing yourself the following check in times:

Domestic Flights: 1.5 Hours
European Flights: 2 Hours
International Flights: 3 Hours

Self-service check-in is available at Manchester Airport Terminal 2, with kiosks situated in the Departures area. The kiosks are conveniently located to allow you to avoid the queues by printing your Boarding Pass yourself.

All you need is your passport, e-ticket number or credit card used to book, follow the on-screen instructions to print off your boarding card and drop off your luggage at the baggage drop desks. The locations of the baggage drop desks are marked on screens next to the kiosk.

Manchester Airport Terminal 1 Arrivals

Manchester Terminal 2 arrivals is located on the lower level. You can check arrival times online at Manchester Airport Flight Arrivals.. International connections do not need to go through Immigrations or Customs but all International to Domestic connections do. Domestic to International connections can use the special Immigration check-points if baggage is through-checked.

Changing Places

Manchester Airport is proud to provide Changing Places - specially adapted facilities for disabled travellers, offering a spacious and comfortable environment for personal care. The facilities can be found within Arrivals in T2.

Childrens Play Areas

Next to Gate 213, you'll find a dedicated play area for under 3s, as well as an area for slightly older children.

Information Desk

Located between Gates 211-215. You'll also find one in the arrivals hall where they will be happy to assist you with any onwards travel arrangements, such as hotel reservations.

Luggage Trolleys

Available in departures for the small fee of £1 / €2.

Places of Worship

Multi-faith Prayer Rooms are accessible 24 hours a day, and there are two located in T2. The first in Arrivals can be found at the end of the main arrivals concourse whilst the second is after security in departures. You'll find the room opposite Boots and Travelex at the bottom of the stairs.
